Other people work that inspired my final ideas

So now that I have chosen my final 4 ideas that I want to develop further to see which one will be my final idea. I will be talking and explain more where I got my inspirations from to come up with this ideas I will be  talking about each idea individually and where and what gave me my ideas. To know more into depth about each of my ideas I have explained them on my sketchbook what the idea are and what I think they should be doing.

Box idea

The inspiration behind this idea was actually an animation that I saw a few years ago made by my tutor from college Matt Umney,
He made this animation when he was back at college himself, he created this animation as part of his own FMP for his college course back in 2008.  He showed me this animation a few years ago in class to inspire us to come up with ideas out of the box and research more into what we where doing he explained that for him to actually know how to make the sack of flour move he himself actually got into a duvet cover at home and created all the movements himself and had a friend videoing him while he was doing it so he could then see how to apply though realistic moments to his animation. That gave me an idea I could do the same with my box because the movements I have in my head for this box are not realistic movements so  having me in a box trying to recreate the movements that I have in my head and having someone videoing me so then after I can look at the video and see if the movements work. The reason why this idea inspired me was because of the concept behind it how you dont know what is going on with the sacks of flour why they are struggling so much to get up until the end when he zooms out and we can see on the wooden box saying self raising flour. It gives it a sense of suspense and curiosity to the audience engaging leaving them caught up in the animation wanting more and that is why this animation inspired me to come up with my idea is not the same i m using a box but the creating the suspense and the curiosity keeping the audience engaged and wanting to know what is going on until the very end. This animation taught me that you don't need to have an over complicated animation to have all though elements in the animation you just have have a good idea and plan it well so that is what I plan to do.

Post-it construction
The inspiration for this idea came from an animation a came across when I was reaching for a stop motion animation years ago as part of one of my college projects, this animation was created by Bunliu he done this animation as part Senior project at Savannah College of Art and Design.

He explained the way he come up with his idea was because he always found himself battling with his uni work and that he keep fighting with all the post it notes that reminded him of his deadlines, I can relate to his pain well. So he though of creating this animation using the post its that haunt him so much to this animation where he manipulated the post its to create a stop motion animation.  This animation inspired me because the originality that it has using something as simple as post it can create such an original and amazing and interesting animation. this animation catches the attention of the audience it surly  attracted my attention when i first saw it I had to watch it 3 times and every time I loved it even more and that is what inspired me to come up with my idea if I could come up with an idea so amazing that would make people watch my animation over and over again just to see every aspect of the animation I would be happy creating a great idea and a great animation from such an ordinary object so that is why my idea of having the E4 logo constructed by post its.

Break out game
The aspiration for this idea was actually one of my projects that I recently done for uni my VFX project.
I created this project for university it was my VFX project I had to create an animation involving 3D elements and real life footage. The reason why I chose break out was because we had to choose to create something simple for our 3D part of the animation the reason for that was because we were just learning how to use knew software so keeping the animated part simple would help out with what we had to learn.
I loved doing this project but I felt I could do more with the 3D part of this animation something more incredible and exciting, so that is where my inspiration for my idea came from using the break out game playing it and creating the E4 logo with the game.

String idea
The inspiration for this idea came to me when I was in the cinema, from the coca cola advert that is showed before the film comes on to say you still have time to get a coca cola and some popcorn.

Unfortunately the actually video would not download to blogger for some reason but I have post the link that will take you to the animation I'am talking about.
This idea really got my attention the way that you see the coke feeling the tube and going around all the bends and the twists it keep people interested of what happened next what does it relate to, because of the sound effects you have a slight idea is related to coca cola but you would not expect it that the final animation was to advertise the cineworld experience on top of it all because is true part of the cinema experience is getting a coca cola and popcorn. so this animation inspired my idea reminding me that this is not just a fun competition that I'am entering it is me also promoting the E4 channel and that but keeping it interesting and  making sure it relates to what the channel and the idea they used of having the camera follow a tube which it representing a straw but just the way the camera moves it inspired me for my idea.
