This is my topology for the E4 logo this will give me a better idea of how the mesh should look like when I model the E4 logo on Maya.
The reason why I broke down the logo into different sections is because I believe it would be easier to model 3 different parts of the logo this is because, is less time consuming to model all the different components and then put it together this is because the 4 for example is 3 different sizes and all the sizes are different colors so if I have 3 different sizes I can apply the right texture to each 4 more easily then having to select each face that I need the different textures just makes it easier and a faster process. The E will also be modeled desperately this is because the mess is different and if I wanted to model this as a hole would take time to have to cut and add all the mesh I need to create the E so its easier to just model every component separately and then put it all together at the end when I have all the right textures applied to each component.
This is the topology for my box is very easy because maya already creates a cube for me so all i have to do is apply texture.
